And baby makes 5!

I had the pleasure of photographing this wonderful family a few weeks ago when their baby was still warm and cozy inside Mom's belly, and yesterday I got to see and photograph this little beauty in person! Big sister and big brother seem to love the new addition and Mom and Dad were calm and happy (but maybe a little tired). :) It was a really fun shoot and we got some great images. Gearing up

Things are starting to pick up after a quiet and HOT August. I'm busy preparing for upcoming shoots with clients new and old and I'm excited about the apparent change in weather. It's actually raining today! Could Fall really be around the corner?

Little Blooms is 1 today!

Happy Birthday to my little business! I'm so thankful to my family for the unwavering support and encouragement I have received. I certainly could not have pulled it all together without them. And I'm so grateful for the fantastic clients I've had the opportunity to work with. It's been a crazy year!

My MIL

My mother-in-law asked me to take a few headshots for her business this weekend. It's so different photographing someone who will sit still and pose like I ask them to! (As opposed to what I usually do which is follow quick, wiggly kiddos and try as hard as I can to catch them when they pause for 1/2 a second!). Here are my favorites from our quick shoot.

The Family "S"

Summer fun!

Remember running through the sprinklers as a kid? Apparently, it's a timeless activity. My girls had a blast getting soaked yesterday. I couldn't help but grab my camera and record the fun. :)

Little Miss A

This session is from many months ago, but this little one's mom has asked me to put the images back up in my gallery so she can place an order, and I decided to re-edit them with the software I acquired since this shoot (I heart Lightroom, by the way). This was a fun shoot - and one of my first as a real business woman. The only downside was an unfortunate encounter with a overly brave goose that thought Miss A's leg looked like a good snack. She recovered quickly, though, and we got some beautiful shots.
