My little friend

Today I got to shoot one of my very favorite families for their Christmas card. I think this is the 4th time they've asked me to take their photos and every time is so much fun. And soon there's going to be another little one to take photos of! I can't wait!!

I had a hard time narrowing down my favorites, so I'm posting a bunch. :)

Woman's best friends

This lovely lady was generous enough to bid on a photo session at a charity auction. We got together yesterday with her adorable pups and took photos in between sniffing every square inch of the park, playing chase with another dog, and looking for ducks (the dogs, not us!). Here are some of my favorite images:

One (very) big, happy family!

This family gets together every 5 years around Thanksgiving and has a group picture taken. I was lucky enough to be asked to do it this year and it was a lot of fun. They were so easy to work with - everyone stood just right, smiled, and the shot was taken - they did a lot of the work for me! Here are some of my favorite shots:

Fairy wings and playground swings

I went with this adorable family to Mueller Park on Wednesday and we had a fun shoot. We saw rainbows and ducks in the lake, played on swings, and almost knocked Daddy into the water! Here are some of my favorite images from our day:

Two little monkeys - the "K" boys

This was a very entertaining (and tiring!) session. :) These crazy boys (4 and almost 2), made me work hard for every shot! The ones we did get are so cute that I had to post a bunch of them:

Beautiful morning, beautiful family - The Family "S"

I live in South Austin and this family lives in Round Rock (and have only been there for a short time), so I had to rely on the advice of friends on where to go WAY up north. :) I was directed to Memorial Park in Round Rock. It was a very pretty setting for photographs complete with ducks and a lake surrounded by trees that were actually changing colors! This little man was not interested in me or my camera at all, but was instead fascinated by rocks, leaves, flowers, anything that would keep him looking down instead of letting me capture his adorable face. Mom and Dad worked hard to get those little eyes looking up, and I hope they took a well-deserved nap when we were finished! Here are some of my favorites shots:

Sunshine and smiles - The Family "R"

Fun, fun, fun photo shoot yesterday! This was the happiest and most loving family and it was a joy to work with them. They're building a home in the hills of Georgetown and their land made for a really beautiful backdrop. Here are some of the images from our session:
